Şems Özgür was born in 1984 in İzmir, Turkey. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University’s Faculty of Business Administration in 2008 and started working at Özgür Foods as a second-generation family member. He has held various positions at his company, which has been the Export Champion in the Dried Fruit Sector for 12 years. Additionally, he continues to serve as the Vice Chairman of the Dried Fruit Board of the Aegean Exporters’ Association.
