Alexey Alpet is a founder of one of the largest pine nut processing companies in Russia: Siberian Cedar Eco-Factory, LLC. He graduated from Tomsk State University with an M.A. in International Relations and started his own business.
Alexey has been working in the nut trade since 1999. Pine nuts have been the main specialization of his company since 2008. Siberian Cedar controls the entire process, from collecting pine cones in the most distant forests of Siberia to delivering pine nuts throughout the world. His company supplies this product to Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Siberian Cedar has its offices and warehouses in the Czech Republic and the UAE.
In 2019, Alexey launched ForestGap, a social and environmental project focused on forest restoration. About 6,500 people have planted 83,000 trees since the start of the project. A coniferous nursery for 1,000,000 pine tree sprouts was created and all of these trees are regularly maintained.
