Carlos Suárez is co-founder and current Managing Director of Nuevos Cultivos Agrarios SL (NCA). NCA is a first-generation Spanish company (founded in 2015) specialized in pistachio processing and trade. It is one of the first companies to become pistachio specialist in Spain and is a key member and co-founder of the European Pistachio Council (EPC), which is a new association that intends to represent and lobby in favor of pistachio interests within Spain and the whole European Union.
Carlos is currently EPC president. He holds an Agricultural Engineer degree from Montpellier SupAgro Agronomy School (France). He also has broad experience in rural engineering and agricultural projects, all around the globe, that he proudly acquired during several years of mission working as an Engineer of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
