John Aguiar is a Sales Director for Mariani Nut Company, based out of Winters, California. John moved into the Sales department, with a specific focus on the retail market, where he managed some of the largest retail accounts within the company. At the same time, he became involved with the Asian/Far East industrial market. After a couple of years, John was asked to become further involved with the International sales and expand Mariani’s presence in key worldwide segments. Recently, John’s focus has continued to be on the global market, but an emphasis has been placed on strategic development for the Company.
John has served on the Almond Board of California as well as the International Committee. He also is involved with the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC), Dried Fruit & Tree Nut Association of California (DFA), Walnut Marketing Board of California (WMB) and sits on the Board for the Specialty Crop Trade Council (SCTC).
