Since 1999, Jens Borchert has been the owner, partner and CEO of PALM Nuts & More, Nuss & Trockenfrucht GmbH & Co. KG, based in Buchholz, Germany. Since 2000, he has also been the owner, partner and CEO of California Direct (Germany) GmbH, also based in Buchholz. He is a member of the Waren-Verein der Hamburger Börse e.V., where he serves as Chairman of the Dried Fruit Board. He is also Vice Chairman of the Brussels-based European Federation of the Trade in Dried Fruit, Edible Nuts, Processed Fruit and Vegetables and Processed Fishery Products (FRUCOM), as well as a member of the INC.
