Ganesh has been with Olam for about 16 years, and mostly in Cashews. At present, he is Senior Vice President, and head of Cashew business for Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) and has taken on additional responsibility for Macadamias recently. Before his current role, he was head of cashew Sales and Marketing in the US. Prior to his US stint, he was head of cashew Sales and Marketing in the EU, based out of their Rotterdam Office. He has Origination experience in Cashews, as Cashews Business Unit head in Vietnam. In between his Origination and Marketing roles in Cashews, he had a brief stint as Head of their Peanut Business Unit in Argentina. Before joining Olam, he was with a large Indian FMCG company as Coconut oil price forecaster and buyer.
