Damien Houlahan is Senior Vice President – Global Head Almonds for ofi, based in Fresno California.

The almonds business for ofi includes farming operations in Australia and California, hulling and shelling operations in Australia and handling and ingredient manufacture in California and Vietnam, and marketing offices in all the major consumption regions.

Damien has over 30 years’ experience in agribusiness. Prior to his current role in Australian Almonds with Olam, he held a range of commodity trading and management positions with Olam Australia and earlier in his career with Cargill Australia. He is also a current director of the Australian Almond Board.

Damien received a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of New England and holds post graduate qualifications in Business Management.
