Jonathan Cockerill is a lawyer and a Senior Associate in the Energy, Marine and Natural Resources team at Clyde & Co LLP. Jonathan has almost a decade of experience in advising clients in relation to a wide variety of commodities trading, shipbuilding, logistics, insurance and marine issues, both contentious and non-contentious in nature.
Jonathan specialises in the resolution of complex international commercial disputes, in particular those in the trade and commodities sector. Jonathan also advises on a variety of regulatory matters, especially those related to the sale and transport of goods by sea and land, and has expertise in drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of international commercial agreements.
Jonathan has extensive experience of conducting and resolving disputes in the English High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, as well as arbitrations under a wide variety of arbitral and trade association terms.
