Born in Barcelona, Spain in 1966, Alberto González-Tudó holds a Master’s in Economics and Business from Universitat Central de Barcelona and a Master’s in International Business from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He also completed a postgraduate degree in Finance at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a Degree in Food Quality Certification.
Alberto began his professional journey in 1983 in the family business as a local broker for sugar, nuts, and honey. By 1984, he expanded into international brokerage, facilitating imports of Turkish pistachios and hazelnuts into Spain and exporting Mediterranean pine nuts to the main international markets.
In 1997, he took over management of the family company. Since then, he has focused exclusively on international brokerage and agency services in nuts, seeds, and dried fruits, while also acting as a consultant for various industry companies with the commercial company name of Pinfruse.
