Guillermo Humphrey holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and a master’s degree in business administration. He is the director of Humphrey Pecan, a family-owned and -operated company established in 2002 in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. With a shelling capacity of more than 20,000,000 pounds of pecans at company-owned facilities, Humphrey Pecan is dedicated to total quality control (TQC), applying thorough quality-control procedures under HACCP, GMP and other quality and health practices. Humphrey Pecan holds FSSC 2200, OU Kosher and Halal certifications and its in-house laboratory is accredited by Perry Johnson. The company is a member of the US National Pecan Shellers Association as well as the Mexican association COMENUEZ. Guillermo Humphrey is an active member of the Pecan Export Trade Council (PETC), the American Pecan Promotion Board (APPB) and the Peanut and Tree Nut Processors Association (PTNPA).
