Abel Santos Sáez is Managing Director of Intersnack Cashew Company (ICC) and, since January 2025, also Managing Director of Intersnack Procurement (ISP), based in the Netherlands.
With over 20 years of international experience in food manufacturing, procurement and operations, he has held leadership roles across Europe and Asia with Mars, Kellogg’s, Bakkavor, Prosol and Intersnack.
At ICC, he leads the Intersnack Group’s global cashew activities, overseeing sourcing, processing and supply chain operations across Asia and Africa. His work focuses on strengthening transparency, advancing single-roof processing, enhancing food safety standards and driving social responsibility across the value chain.
Abel holds an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Salamanca (Spain) and the University of Bern (Switzerland), as well as an MSc in Marketing and Sales Management from ENAE Business School (Spain). In 2024, he completed the Strategic Leadership with AI and ML Programme at Singapore Management University, reflecting his strong interest in applying Artificial Intelligence to procurement, manufacturing and supply chain optimisation.
