Eduardo Alfaro, Senior Vice President – Procurement & Commodities has been employed by the John B Sanfilippo Company since 1987. Over the 39-year career span has served in multiple roles including as Operations Manager of the pecan shelling facility, which has the capacity to process up to 90 million pounds (40.8 thousand metric tons) in-shell pecans annually. Has also held the position of Business Manager Ingredient Sales, and is now responsible for managing the company’s total commodity procurement strategy across all nut types, including the acquisition of in-shell pecans used in Fisher Brand, Orchard Valley Harvest, Squirrel Brands, Southern Style Nuts brands, and for multiple private label grocery store retail consumers.
