Behrooz Agah, a third-generation pistachio farmer and trader, leads the Agah Group—an integrated pistachio operation spanning 4,000 hectares of family-owned pistachio orchards. Under his leadership, the group comprises the largest fresh pistachio processing plant, along with Arian Milan (an export company), Negin Sayareh Sabz (a processing facility), and Green Nut Land (a specialized green kernel production unit). Continuing a family legacy that began in the early 1920s with Iran’s first mechanized pistachio farm, the Agah group is known for producing and exporting low-risk Aflatoxin and pesticide-residue-free pistachios to its customers worldwide. Behrooz is a founding member of Iran Pistachio Association (IPA), serving on its Board of Trustees for 19 years and currently on its Executive Board. Established in 2007, IPA is a non-profit organization representing all sectors of Iran’s pistachio industry. Since 2010, it has regularly provided industry data and represented Iran’s pistachio sector internationally. Behrooz also serves as the INC Ambassador to Iran.
