The INC World Nut & Dried Fruit Congress is the only international event solely dedicated to the entire nut and dried fruit industry. It is held once a year and the location regularly changes, to represent the global membership of the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC).
This event is organized to bring together the leaders of the sector to discuss the hottest topics and latest market insights. The event features expert-led roundtables for each nut and dried fruit under the umbrella of the INC, inspiring keynote and guest note speakers, and unique social activities to encourage networking in a relaxing atmosphere.
The INC is the international umbrella organization for the nut and dried fruit industry. Its members include more than 850 nut and dried fruit sector companies from over 80 countries. The INC’s mission is to stimulate and facilitate sustainable growth in the global nut and dried fruit industry. It is the leading international organization on health, nutrition, statistics, food safety, and international standards and regulations regarding nuts and dried fruits.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED
See the beginnings of the INC Congress
The global expansion nut industry began in 1980 with the First World Tree Nut Congress in Reus, Spain. This marked the first large international gathering of business people in the sector with the objective of standardizing criteria and uniting efforts in the task of promoting and improving their professional work. It was in this moment that the INC Congress was born, although the INC would not be officially founded until 1983 with the signing of the Charter in Paris.
The second Congress was held in 1982 in Sorrento, Italy, and the third took place in 1983 in Sacramento, USA. As the years continued to pass, the Congress remained a consistent event. Nearly 40 World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress have now taken place and they continue to be the most highly anticipated event for the sector. Throughout the years the Congress has been hosted by more than 20 countries in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Oceania and continues to grow, now regularly reaching over 1,000 participants.
